With Prospect, we've designed a navigation system that accommodates any 3D file and gives the user the ability to almost instantly travel to any place they'd like. The two leading VR headsets are Vive and Oculus. Depending on which virtual reality headset you pair with Prospect you’ll have slightly different navigation controls.

Press up on the thumbpad of the wand with the grey laser. Aim and release the thumbpad to teleport to the location of your avatar. If an “X” appears, this means you cannot teleport onto a surface.

Using VR Controllers
Changing your teleportation mode and fly increments
Prospect defaults to a curved teleportation system. However, any users who would like to switch over to a straight-line teleportation system instead, or for a specific purpose, such as teleporting great distances, can do so under the Global Settings or in-VR Menu.
You can switch between a straight line and curved teleportation, as well as adjust the height increment for flying up and down in your Prospect Library settings by clicking the gear at the top right of your library. You can also adjust these settings in VR by clicking the gear icon on your in-VR menu, as shown above.

Desktop Mode Controls

When starting up, Prospect performs an automatic check and will load the proper controls based on the headset that is detected. If no headset is detected, desktop controls will be presented, where users can navigate with their keyboard and mouse, and licensed users will have tools available.

With a headset connected, full keyboard/mouse controls will not be available. In this mode, users also have the ability to disable right and left controllers individually and make use of a smaller subset of tools, for what we refer to as Presenter Mode.
