    Hey Samuel,

The last several versions of Prospect have had the ability to allow users to teleport through doors and fade through for easy navigation. I believe you are on the latest version, but just in case make sure you are on v2.4.5 to remove that doubt :)

If you are on the latest version, it's possible that this is a file specific issue and we can help you troubleshoot it directly. Could you send a message to support@irisvr.com? We can take it from there!

    Best,
    Ailyn

Just to close the loop on this issue in the forum.

The reason why the doors are not fading automatically in Revit is that in this particular instance the Revit file is in French. This means that Prospect is unable to identify any items labeled with "door" to generate the fade on approach.

At this time Prospect will only be able to fade doors automatically for files that use English, but in the future, we hope to expand and support more languages.

    Best,

    Ailyn

Here is the followup and the solution to our email exchange:

Note, I am using Revit on a French project.

Temporary resolution: I need to have the word 'door' in my doors. Not ideal on a French project.

Another BIM note: Since Doors are a Revit system family, they cannot be anything else than a door, so it makes no sense to write 'door' in a door family.

Final resolution (to come): This will eventually be resolved by IrisVR to look at the family type to identify doors and to make it work across Revit languages.
