Pictureframe Alpha Channel Transparency in Rhino
Hello,
Has anyone had any luck with having alpha channel transparency display correctly in Prospect through the Rhino Plugin using the Pictureframe command?
An example would be applying an alpha (transparency) channel for a perforated mesh texture as shown in the properties dialog below.
Currently, the perforations show as transparent in Rhino, but solid white in Prospect.

If you create this texture using a .PNG with transparent perforations/cutouts - they will appear transparent within Prospect. Always happy to help with any workflow or file-specific questions, please don't hesitate to send us a message at support@irisvr.com!
