Drawing Tools
CompletedAwesome plug-in! We are using the Rhino plugin and quickly jumping into the VR environment is so easy and quick.
While viewing the model is fantastic currently, what we are lacking here in the office is the ability to edit/markup things we find. I think a few tweaks in the drawing palette could go a long way.
- Adjustable line weight/color of pencil tool
- Ability to draw with the 'pointer' - I find that mass stamping the callout tool is a more effective way to 'sketch' because I can project a line out past my hand (if that makes sense?). The callout tool places the circle wherever I am pointing which is much more useful.
- Orbit/aerial viewing - we try to get a 50' view when looking at large open spaces and so I have been building in viewing platforms floating in space to allow myself to perch above the model. It would be useful to have a hover/god mode.
Awesome product. We will be subscribing.

Thank you for the feedback! It's great to hear you're enjoying Prospect. We're thinking quite a lot about ways to improve our drawing and annotation systems, so we'll take these comments into account as we continue to design the next iteration of our GUI.
Regarding orbit/aerial viewing, stay tuned for a release very soon that will allow you progress through Named Views in Rhino - this feature will allow you to teleport to the proper vantage points if you set them up in your Rhino file beforehand (http://docs.mcneel.com/rhino/5/help/en-us/commands/namedview.htm).
Best, Shane
