At the start of November, IrisVR is moving into the first release of our software meant for commercial use. As a result, our current beta software will cease to be available. If you have been using our beta software, we thank you for your endless feedback and patience as we built out a new robust platform for you.
We want to make sure you are running the latest version of Prospect and have outlined below how the beta version of Prospect you are currently running will be transitioned into our new platform.
You can check which version of Prospect you are running by opening the Prospect Launcher on your desktop, clicking the help tab, which will display the version you have installed (see below).
Prospect Beta Version 0.3.8
The last beta of Prospect is Version 0.3.8, and has been available for download from our website since June 2016. Most beta testers are currently running this version of our software.
If you are running 0.3.8 through 0.3.4, the next time that you open the Prospect launcher on your desktop, it will automatically notify you that your trial is about to commence, see below.
If it does not automatically prompt you to start the trial, you can either (a) close the launcher and re-open, or (b) Navigate to the "Help" tab and click on "Check for Updates".
By clicking the start trial button you will begin your 21-day trial of Prospect Pro. Please note if you are also a Scope user, starting this trial does not automatically begin your trial of Scope Pro. To begin that trial please log into you account at irisvr.com.
Prospect Beta Version 0.3.3 and older
For all beta testers running Prospect Version 0.3.3 and older, to begin using the latest version of Prospect Pro, you will have to go to our website, log into your account and download the software. Please note that we can not provide support for old versions of Prospect software, as any issues you encounter are solved by updating to the current release.
