Our Scope app, allows you to upload and share content with other individuals. To simplify this process we have established definitions for "Authors vs. Viewers".
A user who has an account of Scope Pro (or trial) and can upload panoramas onto the Scope Library Online. The author has the ability to generate a "Public Access Code" as well as a "Public Sharing URL" which can be shared with another individual, in this case called a "viewer". The author also has the ability to revoke access to any pano set which has been shared publicly. To be an author, the user must have a paid version of Scope Pro or be in a trial period and there is no limit to the number of viewers an author can share with.
An individual who receives a "Public Access Code" for viewing panoramic images that have been shared with them. A viewer does not have access to uploading any content unless they create an IrisVR account online, otherwise, a viewer account is fully free.
