In Sketchup, there are two methods to import images.
- As a Texture
- As an image
We currently do not support .tif
Textures are difficult to work with and should only be used on graphic elements that will be tiled accordingly. Currently, we do not support scalar adjustments for these textures so even if they appear like the bottom left image below they will actually appear like the middle left image.
You can import images into Sketchup as an image but if it does not appear in Prospect, be sure to select the image, right-click, and select "Explode". This will turn the image into a face that has the image projected as a texture. It should appear in Prospect accordingly.
