Our mobile app, Scope, is designed to read .JPGs rendered as panoramas, these panoramas are then read as static images from a fixed point of view. Mobile phones, currently can't store the required amount of geometric information from file formats like Revit in order to work effectively in VR and create navigable experiences.
There are solutions out there that try to resolve this with the cloud by hosting the information in the web and allowing you to navigate via the browser.
Unfortunately this approach adds additional two-way lag via your internet connection and generally creates sub-par experiences -- you can't really wear it for very long without feeling nauseous.
If you have specific ideas about how you'd like this to work please provide some feedback HERE.
