Scale Model Mode places all loaded geometry on a table in front of the user. From this vantage point, you can select a location to begin your walkthrough or rotate the model left and right to view different elements of the design. This is the default starting location of all IrisVR experiences.
You can teleport to any point in the model that has an Orange Scale Figure. This figure denotes safe locations to begin a walkthrough. If you do not see a scale figure, try looking at (with the Oculus Rift) or pointing at (with the HTC Vive) another part of the model or rotating the model for another vantage point. Users are also able to teleport or walk around the scale model environment if they'd prefer that to rotating the model.
You can return to scale model mode any time by opening the Menu and selecting the Scale Model icon on the far left of the toolbar.
There are a variety of ways to interact with your scale model while in Scale Model Mode, including scaling, rotating, and sectioning among others. For tips on how to use these features while in-VR, press the menu button on your controller to toggle on tooltips.
